Self Discovery Adventure Race @ Nagano pref. Otaki vil. 2003/09/20
いろいろ迷ったけど、この装備に決定。水分２リットル、ゼリー６袋。 This is the machine for the race.
王滝村への道は長い。おおよそ６時間。
Long long way to go... it took 6 hours.
朝5時半、レース前の準備をする。
5 am.
スタートは一緒。３０分近くはローリング。
Rolling start for 30 minutes.
というわけで最初はみんな和気あいあい。
Thats why we can ride in relax atomosphere.
先導車から撮影とかもやってます。
The official car runs ahead of us
スタート後２５分、まだ先導車つき。
25 minutes after start, the official car still with us.
１時間後、林道に入る。
After one hour, we entered into woods.
ちょいと狭いところもある。
Somewhat narrow path in woods.
１時間半後、橋を渡る。
Crossing a river.
２時間半後。良い感じの登り坂。
After 150 minutes.
２時間４４分。第一CP通過。
After 164 minutes, I arrived at #1 check point.
ここで水補給＆水分放出（笑）
I took water here.
３時間１０分経過。時速23Km/h
After 190 minutes. 23Km/h
３時間４０分。湖の周りはちょっとフラット。
220 minutes. We ride around a lake.
水が湧いているところには、天然エイドステーションのサインがある。上流オシッコ禁止。
No urinating! We drink the water here.
４時間１０分。12Km/hに落ちてる。
After 250 minutes, 12Km/h.
湖の反対側を登る。対岸にも自転車で走る姿が見られた。
Opposite side of the lake. There were bikes following us.
そのときのワタシの前方。
In front of me the moment I took the photo.
４時間５０分。第２CP。ちょいガレてる。
After 290 minutes, #2 check point.
その時、走行距離７１キロ。これからメーターが狂いまくる。
The distance was 71Km.
これぐらいの大きさの石が多くなってくる。
The surface of the road are not smooth.
５時間４０分。おおっ、峠じゃ〜、と思うもその先にもっと高い場所があったりすることン十回。
After 340 minutes. I often mistook this kind of scene as a top of the hill.
いきなりゴール。７時間ちょい。雨のためゴミ袋かぶってます。この時もらったお茶は、まだ暖かかった。
After 420 minutes, I finished the race. There was raining.
雨がひどいので、先に自転車を洗ってさっさと車内でくつろぐ。
Such was hard rain, I hopped on the car immediately washed my bike.
午後４時過ぎ、雨がひどいので、とっとと帰る。
4pm. we began to go home.
帰る途中の売店。パンダみたいなコワイ動物、
On our way to home. I found a panda like animal.
横河の峠の釜めしは売り切れ〜。
Famous lunch box was sold out.

ボトルケージが削れてる。新品のコントレクスのボトルは当然ボロボロ。
The bottle cage can be shaved. Naturally the bottle of new conte CONTREX is spoilt.
チェーンステイに、センサーをつけたナイロンストラップの痕がついてがっかり。 The marks of a nylon strap which was used for fix a sensor.
左フォークの前寄り内側に傷がつく。
A crack sticks inside front slippage of a fork. Does it order from VOTEC of Germany?
右フォークの前寄り内側にも傷が。
A crack sticks also inside front slippage of a right fork.
リアタイアはよく削れてます。
The rear wheel has got damaged severely. Punctured once.
某社のサドルバッグは１時間も持たずにちぎれる。もう買わない。 I hate this saddle bag. It couldn't used less than 1 hour.
レース後半シフトが渋くなった。後日、こんなのを見つけたのでつけてみるべ。
It became impossible to change gear the second half of a race. I will use from next time.
